Each item says what changed, who it affects and what you can do, in that order.
We go to the source.
A recall comes from the CPSC, the FDA or the company’s own notice, with the model number and the lot code. If we can’t link to a source, we don’t run it.
We say who it applies to.
The dates, the states, the dollar amount and the steps on your phone, so you can tell quickly whether it’s yours.
We say when there’s nothing to do.
Some notices don’t need anything from you. When that’s the case, we tell you and stop.
We mark what we’re paid for.
